Where is Wendy Now?
Wendy is now living in the UK with her husband Nigel, competing 10 months of each year in UK and planning to return for 2 months annually, October / November / December, to teach clinics & lessons and to ride locally & at the Adelaide International.
She has moved into the Cullinghood Equestrian Centre with her own little row of stables & tack area, two all weather arenas plus miles of hacking out and hill gallops. Situated just off the M4 at Junction 12 to Reading & Pangbourne it is in a popular horse area.
Wendy & Nigel have rented a gorgeous heritage listed, but modernly renovated, Gatekeeper's cottage at the back gates of Basildon Park, only 5- 10 minutes from Cullinghood & the competition horses.
After sadly losing 3* competition horses, Smokin Sun and Sun Lover in early 2016, Wendy replaced them with a quality youngster, 5 year old Numerano GT Z, in June 2016, aiming to progress to CIC/CCI 1* in 2017. A 6 year old mare, Gitta Bella, was added to the team in April 2017 and also progressed to CIC1* before an injury break - whereas Numerano successfully completed his first CCI 1* in 7th place at Hartpury in August.
